Over the last two decades, I have created an ever-growing research portfolio to change our understanding of how games can contribute to society, how we can make technology and life more engaging using elements from games, and how to measure interactive technologies using biometric measures.
Besides mentoring a group of excellent researchers, I teach online and in-person classes on game design, user experience research and design, games user research, and writing research papers. I was also fortunate enough to give keynotes at gamification and human-computer interaction conferences (like Mensch und Computer and GamiFIN) in the past.
I wanted to take my teaching and coaching work to the next level and take it beyond the ivory tower. This is why you can find many of my offers here on this website.
